Harold “JR” Hutchinson, Jr. was born on a United States Naval Base, in Portsmouth, Virginia. He grew up on Florida’s Adventure Coast enjoying the outdoors with his family, attended primary, middle, and secondary schools in Hernando County and graduated from college where he received a degree in Criminal Justice. 

J.R. went on to serve his hometown of Hernando County, Florida as a deputy sheriff for over 25 years, retiring as the Special Operations Division Commander. He has worked with various non-profit organizations over the years continuing to serve his community, and he has received various awards over the years in recognition of his service to his community.

J.R. married his high school sweetheart and over the course of the last 27 years they have raised 3 children, and of course you cannot forget their Black and Tan Lizard Hound, Athena, whom they adopted from a local animal rescue.

J.R. is a third-generation real estate professional. Growing up in a real estate-oriented family he knew, after a career in law enforcement, that he would continue serving the public as a real estate professional.
